Click to expand.I am not making the claim here that there are more Windows machines out there than there are Mac machines because Windows machines are more secure. I am stating that millions of dollars are spent every year by individual companies looking for the most secure solutions. If they could have those solutions as cheaply as acquiring a Mac, then why would anyone spend $1 million on a system when they can have all the security that they would want for under $2K. The point is, they cannot. Click to expand.I run on a dual quad core Mac Pro right now. I really enjoy my Mac, and I enjoy OS X.
I also enjoy the fact that there is no malware out there running rampant on the internet for it that I am aware of. However, I am not going to turn a blind eye towards Apple on the security front.
I am going to continue to push Apple on there security issues so that I can continue to enjoy what I have today. Sticking my head in the sand on these matters and repeating the Apple Fanboi garbage is not going to accomplish this. Security is, and always will be a moving target. Apple is not immune to this.
Contrary to popular belief and Apple marketing literature, OS X is obviously not as secure by design as people would like.
